Silver Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Silver Lake. A splendid place to camp here at Silver Lake is Firelake Camper Park, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Maumee. Albon Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and paddling       on Maumee River is so much fun. Take a side visit to Crooked Creek, and you get a fine sight of Indian Hill from here. If you get bored of Silver Lake, you could also stop at nearby Scott Park Pond, and Silver Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Swanton Koa Kampground is a great local campground. An afternoon playing golf at Heather Downs Country Club is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Toledo                  here, and Courtyard By Marriott Maumee is a good site to get some rest. Through the warmest time of the year here at Silver Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
