From a precipitation point of view Shipman Pond is a pretty typical place; September is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Beach Trail; while you're here you can play some golf at Casement Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Camp Roosevelt. Shipman Pond is right by the Mushers       Trail, and obviously Grand River flows through this vicinity. Dry warm beds await you at Value Place Mentor; do take a hike on the Erie Trail. Having a splendid time at Shipman Pond is trouble-free. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Shipman Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Ho Mita KODA, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Shipman Pond through the summertime are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 60's.
