Shelton Lake is a nice lake to visit. From a rainfall point of view Shelton Lake is a reasonably common place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. So many cool things to do here at Shelton Lake, too brilliant to be true. For you golfers we recommend close by Harbor Hills Country Club, and camping is available at Port Lounge and Campground. | | stop at; do schedule some time to pop by Custers Point if you have a chance. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Shelton Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Shelton Lake. KOA. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Shelton Lake Dam right next door to Shelton Lake is wonderful, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Buckeye Lake. A swamp like Cranberry Marsh in close proximity to Shelton
Lake has lots of interesting things to see, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Licking River. A lake nearby is Buckeye Lake; if you need a place to stay Best Western Lakewood Inn is a splendid choice.
