Hillview Acres Campground
 | Well, this write up does not give enough credit to the Campground or the owners who work wery hard at keeping this the best camground in Ohio! Honestly there are only two things that I noted that might noticed by some wanna be campers is the pit toilets in the shower house. They are camper toilets that flush. The other thing is that most sites are sloped alittle bit. I tented there a couple of times and thats it, I love it, I love the owners John & Nancy are the best! They keep their swimming pool perfectly clean. The store on premises sells all the right stuff! I'm buying a travel trailer and parking it down there! Close to Salt Fork, best scenic lake this side of the Paso's. Oh and did I fail to say, Tappen Lake 20 to 25 minutes away! Salt Fork is about 10 minutes away! Its the place to camp, safe for kids, its 10 mph or YOU'RE OUTTA HERE. No accidents at Hillview acres. They will not have it. If you don't stop in its your bad decision not mine. Say Hi to Nancy and like I said, they're the best. Dale ... |
Spring Valley Campground
 | 11 miles away This was a great experience, camping here during the Fall Gospel Sing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The campground is very nice, sites are spacious and well maintained. the facilites are better than most places we have been. Though our stay was excellent, it would be a lot more attractive to have a shower and bathroom facility towards the back of the park. There is no full hookup in the area we camped so we had to walk a ways to the showers. ... |
