Mad River is a good local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at Country Hearth Inn Urbana. From a precipitation point of view Second Price Pond is a pretty common location; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Beaver Valley Campground is a fine campground here, and you can go for a hike on the Lakeview Trail. A lake close by is First Price Pond, and whitewater       paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Miami River. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Urbana is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and golf can be played at Woodland Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. At Second Price Pond you always meet someone from Urbana, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Second Price Pond; Possum Hollow Trail is a tremendous local trail. All the                  outdoors amusing stuff in the vicinity of Second Price Pond will keep you coming back many times. If you came for an overnight stay Hidden Oakes Campground is a fine place to camp, and wonderful hiking is available along the Buckhorn Trail. High temperatures at Second Price Pond all through the summer are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's.
