Clark Lake
Catching big fish isn't luck. Know what your fishing for and what baits you're using and the right time to fish for big fish might help a bit....My fishing experience at Clark Lake, Clark County, Ohio is not good. I usually only catch bluegill there. Some small catfish and a few trout. Also a couple of water snakes and a turtle. If there are any big fish there, well I sure haven't had any luck catching them....This lake could be a beautiful recreation area if you removed all the trash. We were very surprised to see two beavers. Didn't catch any fish here but did find several ticks on us when we got home....

15 miles away Hello. I will say that I haven't been to this camp ground for about 15 years, but when I was a child, it was our weekend home. We would stay there every weekend and we LOVED it. The camp sites are great and we loved to walk the trails and go swimming and go in the caverns there on site. We would also go to marmon Vally to ride their horses and do other area attratctions. It is a GREAT place to check out....

Back 40 Campgrounds
19 miles away This campground is mostly set up for long-term campers. They have the sites with trees. Most visitors stay in a central grassy area with no shade trees. The property is well cared for and neat. There is swimming in a farm pond but no pool. Nice place for somewhere quiet to hang out but kids will get bored pretty quickly I think. The lack of shade makes it pretty hot in the summer even with AC. The owners are nice people and friendly. Fires are permitted in fire rings which they provide. Tent camping was down the hill. There was some shade there but when it rains the area floods....
