The beauty of Schocalog Lake attracts many people from all around. Schocalog Lake is a place with many visitors from Akron, and skiing at Boston Mills is one of those things you just should do. After a long day outdoors Hilton Akron/Fairlawn is a great location to spend a night or two; since you're here you can play some golf at Good Park Golf Course. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Brandywine; camping at Tamsin RV Park is always a great experience.

| | Oakwood at Park Hill at Fairlawn is a brilliant site to get some rest. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Loyal Oak Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; camping is available at Camelot Camping Grounds. Schocalog Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January.

you could also stop by lovely Barberton Reservoir. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Perkins Swamp is right close by, and getting to Schocalog Run from Schocalog Lake is uncomplicated. High temperatures at Schocalog Lake during
the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Schocalog Lake temperatures
descend to the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Yellow Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you haven’t been to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here.
