For the duration of the summer highs here at Lake Sawyer reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Sawyer dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This is no place for people who don’t like to have       a good time. Maumee River is a good whitewater spot next to Lake Sawyer, and dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Toledo - University. If you came for an overnight stay Woodland Acres Lake is a good location to camp, and North Tenmile Creek is in the neighborhood of Lake Sawyer and is always a pleasure to stop at.
