    It's always fun to stop by Lake Sawyer. While you're here at Lake Sawyer, you could also stop at pretty Scott Park Pond, and paddling on Maumee River is so much fun. This place is excellent, just look at all the entertaining things to do near Lake Sawyer. There's so much to do here at Lake Sawyer that you need to camp here for a while, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a good site for that, and North Tenmile Creek is in the neighborhood of Lake Sawyer and is always  
   a pleasure to check out.
Summertime highs at Lake Sawyer commonly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Sawyer. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Toledo - University is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and at Lake Sawyer you always meet someone from Toledo. A
 
               common amount of precipitation falls here at Lake Sawyer; June is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
A great nearby hotel is Wingate by Wyndham - Sylvania/Toledo; a round of golf at nearby Highland Meadows Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. If you came to camp Covered Wagon Camp Resort is a great spot to do that, and Ottawa Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to.
