There's whitewater on Clear Fork of Mohican for all you adrenaline junkies, and close to Savannah Lakes you hit upon a golf course called Brookside Golf Course. Summertime highs at Savannah Lakes mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Savannah       Lakes are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Vermilion River in close proximity to Savannah Lakes, and pretty scenery and splendid skiing is what you acquire at Clear Fork. Camping is available at Terrace Lake Camp Ground, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ashland, Oh is a delightful choice. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Savannah Lakes has it all. A good close by                  hotel is Surrey Inn Motel Ashland; the cheerful folks of Ashland like to hang out nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bailey Lake is close to Savannah Lakes, and what would winter be without some skiing at Snow Trails. A tremendous site to camp here at Savannah Lakes is Country Stage Campground, and the peak of Sprotts Hill can be made out from Savannah Lakes. Savannah Lakes gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
