Kent State University Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Sandy Lake, and don't leave Sandy Lake without first going for a hike along the Iroquois Trail. Brandywine is a great local ski area, and going for a hike on                  the Beech Ridge Trail is always a perfect adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Akron - Days Inn Kent is a pleasant location to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Mohawk Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Countryside Camp Ground is a magnificent campground here, and Cuyahoga River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Sandy Lake truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise.
