San Toy Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at San Toy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Burr Oak Cove Campground is a good place for that, and       going for a hike on the Buckeye Trail is always a splendid adventure. If you need a location to stay Athens - Days Inn is a magnificent choice, and a lake nearby is Seimer Pond. San Toy Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. You could also stop at Altiers Lake if you're here at San Toy Lake; it's close by; you can run the rapids of Licking River. Not far from San Toy Lake you get some great water scenery at San Toy Dam, and there is                  a good hiking trail close by called the Wild Cat Hollow Hiking Trail. People from Athens love to come to San Toy Lake; a great nearby hotel is Hampton Inn Athens. Summertime highs at San Toy Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
