For the duration of the summer months highs here at Ross Lake reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Ross Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Ross Lake you can spot Rocky Knob; Ross Lake is tremendous       enough to spend more than a day at, Buffalo Trail Camping Area is a tremendous local campground. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Chillicothe is a fine site to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Squawroot Nature Trail. Some nearby water includes Lick Run; Berkshire Lake is a tremendous lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn; there are perfect places to discover along the Hargus                  Lake Trail. Ross Lake gets a common amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is usually the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Ross Lake.
