Go to Rod Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Rod Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and nearby you discover the Pine Ridge Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Rod Lake, for example Lake George, and obviously Allman Run is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. You assume that's sufficient? Beaver Creek; Rod Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Hollow Rock Campground is a tremendous site.
This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the months of summer at Rod Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools
down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rod Lake. Going for a hike on the Dogwood Trail is always a great adventure, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express NEWELL is a fine choice.
