If the weather is fine here at Rod Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Lisbon is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. There is a perfect hiking trail next to Rod Lake called the Vondergreen Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Little Beaver Creek offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Hollow Rock Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.

The lake was filling up with sediment and was going to turn into a swamp. They drained it and are letting it dry out so they can dredge it out and then refill it. It will take several years to do this....What happened to Lake Plancentia? Two years ago it was there and now it's empty with everyone's docks high and dry. Does anyone know what happened?... |
