A lake nearby is Hickory Hills Lake, and there's wonderful hiking along the Bench Trail. During the summer at Rocky Fork Lake highs are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rocky Fork Lake. Rocky Fork Lake is a quite wet place generally with a lot of       rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Cedar Trails Nudist Retreat is a fine local campground; you're sure to come across some good folks from Washington here. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Seaman, and you can go for a hike on the George Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Blinco Branch; paddling on Paint Creek is so                  much fun. Rocky Fork Lake is not the only spot nearby, Paint Creek Lake is a nearby lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Don't leave Rocky Fork Lake without first going for a hike along the Wildwood Trail, and do explore Rocky Fork Lake Dam since you're here.
