Camping is available at Winters Recreational Area; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Marysville is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Peacock Run if you're here at Richwood Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Scioto River. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Richwood Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally July,       that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm months at Richwood Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Richwood Lake fall into the 10's.
