This is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes. Cedar Lakes is a lake in close proximity; the Beechtree Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hershel Run, and nearby you find the Lakeview Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. So much entertaining stuff       to do at Red R Lake, so little time. Camping at Cozy-dale Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience, and the summit of Galley Hill can be spotted from Red R Lake. Red R Lake is not far at all from Cincinnati-Middletown. Camping is available at Miami Trails Hoa; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cincinnati Ne-Milford, Oh is a great place to spend a night or two. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Eagle's Nest                  Golf Club is close at hand; why not go to Wiemeyer Pond Dam since you're here. Red R Lake generally gets a lot of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
