Rays Lakes is a nice lake to visit. A good spot to camp here at Rays Lakes is Smoke Rise Resport and Campgrounds; dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Athens. Going for a hike on the Lakeview Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Athens for sure. An average amount of rainfall falls at Rays Lakes; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
