From a rainfall point of view Quail Hollow Lake is a relatively common spot; all through September this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the       driest month. High temperatures at Quail Hollow Lake through the summer are in the 80's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. Camping at Quail Hollow Lake is great fun, Windrush Hollow Camp is a great local campground, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Big Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
