Lake Plata is a nice lake to visit. Near Lake Plata you stumble on the Beach Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and as expected, all our national parks are good spots to explore and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is no exception. A round of golf at nearby Gleneagles Golf Club & Driving Range is a great way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Cleveland/Twinsburg Super 8 Motel. The annual rain here at Lake Plata is about average;

This lake is so wonderful. The Mushers Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lake Plata. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Plata has to offer, you can camp at Tamsin RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cuyahoga River is so much fun, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Mohawk Trail.

if you don’t go skiing at Boston Mills since you're here. There's so much to do here at Lake Plata that you need to camp here for a while, Mar-lynn Lake Park is a great site for that. There's just no way someone can get bored here
at Lake Plata. What would winter be without some skiing at Brandywine; at Lake Plata you always meet someone from Akron. The warmest time of the year at Lake Plata comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight
hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Plata.
Tinker's Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you need a place to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Macedonia is a delightful choice.
