This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Beechtree Trail, and Allstate Inn Lebanon is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Why not check out Piney Wood Lake Dam since you're here, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Second Creek. Just can't get enough of Piney Wood Lake. First Creek is a perfect local stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around       Piney Wood Lake; Southwoods Trail is a great local trail. Through the summertime at Piney Wood Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Piney Wood Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. A nice place to camp here at Piney Wood Lake is Cozy-dale Campgrounds, and if you come at the right time of year, Hall's Creek offers some magnificent                  whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lebanon Knights Inn is a good choice, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Bel-Wood Country Club Lake is one of those close by. Piney Wood Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Big Turtle Campground; don't leave Piney Wood Lake without first going for a hike along the Lakeview Trail.
