An average amount of precipitation falls at Pine Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. There are good sites to explore along the Beach Trail, and a nice close by hotel is Renaissance Quail Hollow Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chagrin River - East Branch, and a golf course close by is Punderson       State Park Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Mohawk Trail is always a good adventure. Skiing at Alpine Valley is one of those things you just ought to do; if you're visiting from Akron, you won't be the only one. If you come at the right time of year, Big Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and close by you discover the Mushers Trail which is a great hiking trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff close                  to Pine Lake.
