Near Pike Lake you find the Bench Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; dry warm beds await you at AmeriStay Waverly. While you're here at Pike Lake, you could also go to charming Longs Retreat Lake; going for a hike on the Wildwood Trail is always a good adventure. Get drenched paddling on Rocky Fork Creek; Pike Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. There's so       much to do here at Pike Lake that you need to camp here for a while, L B Camping is a fine place for that, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Fort Trail. Any time is a magnificent time at Pike Lake if you fancy the outdoors. The amount of precipitation that falls at Pike Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.                  You'll meet a lot of folks from Chillicothe here, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Chillicothe is a magnificent choice. Pike Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Tanglewood Acres is a glorious local campground; a brilliant place is Allen Hollow. Playing golf is lots of fun at Valley Vista Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is great on Paint Creek. This location is so good, just explore all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Pike Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Spicy Run Mountain, and do take a look at Christian Union Church Lake, it's a picturesque lake. At Pike Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
