Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Youngstown (N. Lima/Boardman) is a perfect site to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Lock 30 Woodlands RV Campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Peterson Pond throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the       30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Peterson Pond. Peterson Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of Peterson Pond. Get wet paddling on Little Beaver Creek, and Peterson Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Terrace Lakes Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. There's great hiking along the Dogwood Trail, and                  a great close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. Peterson Pond is not far at all from East Liverpool-Salem; an afternoon playing golf at Whispering Pines Executive Golf Course is always a bliss. Soar down the rapids of Little Beaver Creek in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Peterson Pond; Vondergreen Trail is a fine local trail. This lake is so wonderful.
