Creek Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Long's Retreat and Campground is a pleasant local campground. The high level of rain makes Paint Creek Lake a relatively wet spot; May is when you get the most rain here,
and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Fork Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping at Tanglewood Acres is always a great experience. Man, is there lots of exciting
stuff to do right next door to Paint Creek Lake. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paint Creek; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Seaman.
There are plenty of people from
Washington here at Paint Creek Lake, and of course, this is a wonderful region for people who like lakes, Hickory Hills Lake is a lake in the vicinity. You get a pleasant view of Bald Knob from Paint Creek Lake, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Paint Creek Dam next to Paint Creek Lake.
