At Oxbow Lagoon you always meet someone from Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor; Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are great to take a look at nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Brandywine is a glorious local ski area, and there's a forest here called A B Williams Memorial Woods. A good spot for whitewater paddling next to Oxbow Lagoon is Chagrin River       - East Branch, and after a long day outdoors Cleveland/Willoughby Travelodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. If you're here at Oxbow Lagoon and you like golf, you can stop by Pine Ridge Country Club. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Oxbow Lagoon with overnight lows in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Oxbow Lagoon all through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's. I don't                  want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Oxbow Lagoon. If the weather is pleasant here at Oxbow Lagoon, you can go for a hike along the Mushers Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Chagrin River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bass Isle Resort And Camping is always a wonderful experience, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Mohawk Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Oxbow Lagoon; most of the rain falls throughout September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpine Valley is right next door to Oxbow Lagoon, and the Beach Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by.
