Owen Pond gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. During the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Owen Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Owen Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave       Owen Pond without first going for a hike along the Beaver Run Trail, and glide down the rapids of Big Creek in a kayak. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Owen Pond. Why not camp at Kool Lakes Campground since you're here at Owen Pond; there's pleasant hiking along the Beech Ridge Trail. A delightful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Lordstown/Newton Falls(Warren, and Owen Pond Dam is beautiful. There are pleasant sites to look at along                  the Clubmoss Trail, and paddling on Grand River is so much fun. Do go to Lake Estabrook in the vicinity of Owen Pond, it's a scenic lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Newton Falls is a wonderful site to spend a night or two.
