High temperatures at Ockenga Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Ockenga Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Ockenga Pond rocks! Lakes?       Sure, Firelands Boy Scout Lake is in the neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Oberlin Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Ockenga Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Vermilion River, and why not take a little spree to East Branch Vermilion River while you're here. Why not                  camp at Berlin Heights Holiday Park while you're here at Ockenga Pond, and you're sure to come across some good people from Sandusky here.
