Why not stop by Moore Lake if you're passing through these parts. From a rainfall point of view Moore Lake is a reasonably normal site; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Licking River near Moore Lake; Wild Bill's Resort is a great campground nearby. If you need a site to stay Fairfield Inn By Marriott Zanesville is a splendid choice, and Moore Lake Dam is scenic.

Moore Lake, and Moore Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Wolfie's Family Camping is a pleasant location to camp nearby. For the duration of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Moore Lake
with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Moore Lake.
