The smiling folks of Sandusky like to hang out close by. Monument Pond gets a common amount of rain; most of the rain falls during June, and February meanwhile       is the driest month. You could also stop by Wehrles Pond if you're here at Monument Pond; it's nearby, and good hiking is available along the Blackberry Trail. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Monument Pond. Coopers Woods is a glorious forest region in close proximity to Monument Pond; dry warm beds await you at Put-in-Bay Resort And Conference Center. You must certainly stop at striking North Swimming Beach                  while you're here at Monument Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Wetlands Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
