A common amount of rain falls here at Monument Pond; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is February. Coopers Woods is worth going to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Monument Pond; Wetlands Trail is a glorious local trail. Good hiking is available along the West Harbor Trail; since you're here, do take a visit to Buckeye Point. This lake is so       wonderful. Camping is available at Fox's Den Campground; if you came for an overnight stay St. Hazards Campground is a fine place to camp. So much cool stuff to do at Monument Pond, so little time. The Blackberry Trail offers hiking at its best, and time spent at North Swimming Beach is always good. Summertime highs at Monument Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily                  in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Monument Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Sandusky here; Put-in-Bay Refuge Harbor is delightful.
