Montmere Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Paine Creek, and camping is available at Richards Camp Grounds. Montmere Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.

| | camping at Audubon Lakes Campground is always a great experience. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Montmere Lake is near Montmere Lake Dam which is a wonderful place definitely worth stopping at, and do take a hike on the Beach Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Grand River; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Iroquois Trail.

Johnson Express Inn, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Erie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Hidden Valley Golf Course, and during your journey here you'll
meet some people from Ashtabula for sure. During the summer months at Montmere Lake highs are typically in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Montmere Lake.
