Monroe Basin is always a pleasure to visit. There's whitewater on Licking River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you can stay the night at National Road Campground. Lots of people from Coshocton come to Monroe Basin, and after a long day outdoors Roscoe Motor Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Monroe Basin mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter

| | are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Monroe Basin. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Wakatomica Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Wolfie's Family Camping is a glorious campground here; dry warm beds await you at Travelodge. Monroe Basin gets a typical amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
