Burr Oak Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Baymont Inn & Suites Athens is a delightful spot to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay James J Cotter's Camping is a delightful spot to camp, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Athens here. High temperatures at Modoc Reservoir through the months of summer are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the       50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while Modoc Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Forest Hills Golf Course is a nice golf course close by, and close by you stumble on the Beaver Pond Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Modoc Reservoir gets a common amount of annual rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October on the other                  hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATHENS is a perfect spot to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Modoc Reservoir, Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company Ash Pond is close by. So many enjoyable things to do at Modoc Reservoir, so little time. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Burr Oak Reservoir is one of those close by, and the Buckeye Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Modoc Reservoir Dam is a beautiful place near Modoc Reservoir; going for a hike on the Wild Cat Hollow Hiking Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
