What a nice lake Minnow Pond is. At Minnow Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Minnow Pond drop into the 10's. You'll meet a lot of folks from Akron here, and a good nearby hotel is Aurora Inn Of Mario S International. You could also stop by Beartown Lakes since you're here

After a long day outdoors Bertram Inn & Conference Center is a good spot to spend a night or two, and the skiing at Brandywine is glorious. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpine Valley is in the neighborhood of Minnow Pond, and a good place to camp here at Minnow Pond is Woodside Lake Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it | |

while you're here; Minnow Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a good local campground.
A nice spot for whitewater paddling near Minnow Pond is Chagrin River - Aurora Branch; going for
a hike on the Iroquois Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The Mushers Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Minnow Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you
can always go whitewater paddling on Cuyahoga River. Minnow Pond is a good site of normal rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest.
Man, is there a load of cool things to do next
to Minnow Pond. Beartown Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's right next door to Minnow Pond, and close by you hit upon the Mohawk Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
