High temperatures at Mineral Springs Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mineral Springs Lake are in the 10's. A nice site to camp here at Mineral Springs Lake is Cedar Trails Nudist Retreat, and Mineral Springs Lake Dam is       an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a pleasant little trip to Plum Run; going for a hike along the Bench Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Spicy Run Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; hiking along the Fort Trail is tremendous fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mineral Springs Lake a wet site; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest                  month of the year is February. Comfort Inn Seaman is a great place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Paint Creek. The sight of Peach Mountain from Mineral Springs Lake is beautiful, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Wildwood Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Maysville come to Mineral Springs Lake. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
