The beauty of Mims Lake is reason enough to stop by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mims Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows all through the winter for Mims Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
