This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Mims Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clear Water Air Park is a great spot for that, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Backbone Creek. Near Mims Lake you stumble on the Red Fox Trail which is a good hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mt. Orab Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you       came to camp Stonelick Lake State Park is a fine location to do that. AmeriStay Batavia is a good spot to get some rest, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Big Indian Creek. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The Beechtree Trail is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Mims Lake, and do pop by Light Run if you're here at Mims Lake. Mims Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain,                  and February is the month with the least moisture. Not far from Mims Lake, you'll locate Lake O' the Woods which is a pretty lake, and Bethel Reservoir Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Going for a hike on the Southwoods Trail is always a good adventure. Lakes are fine; Bethel Reservoir is a lake that's close to Mims Lake. Through the summertime at Mims Lake highs are typically in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
