Midway Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The amount of rainfall that falls at Midway Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. At Midway Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Midway Lake through the wintertime generally descend into the 10's. Guilford Bog is a swamp near Midway Lake, and Little Beaver Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Lakes are great; Salem Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Midway Lake, and you're sure to encounter some cheerful

campground.
