All the water falling down from the sky makes Midway Lake a wet place; June is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. At Midway Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Midway                  Lake. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Lake Cardinal is a lake in close proximity, and getting to Indian Creek from Midway Lake is easy. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Ashtabula OH is a pleasant choice, and the Clubmoss Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Midway Lake. There's so much to do here at Midway Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Lakes is a great site for that, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Beaver Run Trail.
