Middletown Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Going for a hike on the Beech Ridge Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Middletown, Oh is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is always a good experience; a golf course close by is Wildwood Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Middletown Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Ghost Hedge

This lake is so wonderful. In case
you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Miami River. From a rain point of view Middletown Reservoir is a relatively typical site; during May this area sees the most rain,
and the driest month of the year is February. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in the vicinity of Middletown Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Heron Run Trail, and Middletown Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cedarbrook Campground is a good local campground.
