Metzger Upground Reservoir Dam is charming and it's right next door to Metzger Reservoir, of course you could also visit Lost Creek Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Metzger Reservoir gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Metzger       Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Lima; Metzger Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Robin's Nest Campground is a tremendous local campground. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Metzger Reservoir. Don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Camp Creek, and Metzger Reservoir is not the only place close by, Ferguson Reservoir is a close by lake. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Lima Ohio. There's                  so much to do here at Metzger Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Winona Lake Campground is a splendid site for that. Near Metzger Reservoir you locate a golf course called Hawthorne Hills Country Club Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Lima, Oh is a perfect choice. All through the summertime highs here at Metzger Reservoir reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
