Paddling on Little Beaver Creek is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Austintown Super 8 Motel. While you're here at Meridian Lake you can take a hike along the Vondergreen Trail, and hey, Ax Factory Run is a great local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Meridian Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cherry Valley Camp Ground, and a round of golf at nearby Dogwood Golf Course is a splendid       way to kill some time. Hiking along the Pine Ridge Trail is tremendous fun, and folks from Youngstown-Warren-Boardman love to come here. So much cool stuff to do here at Meridian Lake, too splendid to be true. There's so much to do here at Meridian Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chaparral Family Campground is a great location for that, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Lake Macachee. High temperatures at Meridian Lake during the                  days of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Meridian Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Meridian Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
