Memorial Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Memorial Reservoir is not the only place close by, Norwalk Lower Reservoir is a close by lake; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Norwalk for sure. Norwalk Memorial Reservoir Dam is a site that is in the neighborhood of Memorial Reservoir, and a magnificent location to camp here at Memorial Reservoir is Milan Travel Park. From a rain point of view Memorial Reservoir is a rather normal location;

| | throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. And that's not all you can do here at Memorial Reservoir. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vermilion River. Summertime highs at Memorial Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Memorial Reservoir. | |

Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Norwalk, and if you've had enough of Memorial Reservoir, Upper Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Norwalk is a fine choice, and Memorial Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Le Mar Park is a delightful local campground.

Huron River Valley Resort
 | ... boats for fishing on the scenic Huron River. There is also public fishing available. We also have marina and dock space available, if you would like to keep your boat here.
Need help getting to the river to do your fishing? We now have Talwater Charters here in our campgrounds. After a long day on the river, a shower sounds really good. We have a full service bathhouse.
Where are we?? We are located at 9019 River Road, in Huron, Ohio. If you are coming from Ohio State Route 6, turn south on River Road, and we are a short drive (3 miles) down River Road. To reach us from State Route 2, exit at Berlin Road, turn south, go 3/4 of a mile, then, at Knight Road, turn right, follow it to the ''dead end'' at River Road, turn left, and we will be on the right side, about 100 feet south.
