You'll need more than a day to look at everything Melco Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodside Lake Park, and while you're here and you like golf, you can check out Grantwood Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Brandywine is one of those things you just must do; there's pleasant       hiking along the Mohawk Trail. There's whitewater on Chagrin River - Aurora Branch for all you thrill seekers, and lovely scenery and good skiing is what you get at Alpine Valley. High temperatures at Melco Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Melco Lake. Melco Lake is a place with many visitors                  from Akron, and you can run the rapids of Cuyahoga River. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Melco Lake, absolutely tremendous. A trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is worthwhile. Melco Lake is a good spot of typical rain; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Geauga Lake Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Melco Lake; Iroquois Trail is a great local trail. Having a brilliant time at Melco Lake is easy. There are other places here than Melco Lake, for example Geauga Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Spring Creek. Lakes?
