This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Hilton Garden Inn Wooster is a fine choice; if you came for an overnight stay Memory Park is a nice spot to camp. While you're here at Meadow Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Tranquil Valley Lake. | |

Amish Country Campground
Do you need permission to have a picnic in the park called Memory Park?...We stayed at Evergreen RV Park in Mt. Eaton. It is a new park and absolutely beautiful. Everything is state of the art -- even an indoor pool with a cover that opens by a sensor. Every site is landscaped with a fence, bushes and flowers. The people are very friendly. It has the nicest restrooms (and largest) that I have ever seen. I certainly will go back again....
Meadow Lake Park
11 miles away A beautiful, quiet park with two lakes, shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoes, basketball, and other basic games but biggest attraction here is peace and quiet. Located near Amish country and other rural attractions. We plan WI-FI in the near future. For details check out www.meadowlakepark.com...
Whispering Hills Campground
16 miles away We just returned from a week of camping, and rate this campground 9.5 out of 10. The staff keep everything well-maintained. There is a large pool that our kids lived in all week. The bathrooms are clean. There is a free 9-hole miniature golf course, frisbee golf course, basketball court, volleyball net, petting zoo, fishing pond, paddle boats, playground, and small game room, so there is plenty for the kids to do. Did I say that everything is clean and well-maintained? There is a small store on-site that surprisingly has a lot of items you may need, and their prices are reasonable. There are lots of activities close by: Canoeing, horseback riding, amish cooking (we really like the Swiss Chalet in Charm), small town shopping, and much more. We obviously highly recommend it. Visit their web site at www.whisperinghillsrvpark.com. The only criticism I can think of is that our campsite was a little small for three tents, but we managed. The staff was friendly and helpful....
Lake wapusun Campground
19 miles away 2 PHOTOS I like to camp at Lake Wapusun Because they are away from all the tourist areas and you can really enjoy nature. They have a really big campgrounds with I think 120 acres. There is great fishing and the lakes are very nice. Check out the fish my uncle caught.... I like the whole camping part of lake wapusun, but they don't keep the lakes cleaned up so you can fish. They need to do Alot of upgrading and cleaning of ALL the lakes....
