Lakes are great; Caldwell Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Mead Foremens Club Pond. There's so much to do here at Mead Foremens Club Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sun Valley Campground is a tremendous place for that. Here at Lake Hill campground, to provide for a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests, alcohol is not allowed. We also do not allow anyone to bring in their own fire wood, to prevent the spread of pests, especially the Emerald Ash Borer.
Our campground is situated on 65 acres of forested hills, with only 20 acres being developed into the campground. We offer large, private, shady sites, most with FHU, some sites upgraded to 50amp. This campground is not for those who prefer the resort quality accomidations, we are a bit more laid back. We don't have manicured lawns, but in the spring, the profussion of wild flowers sprinkled liberally in the grass almost make it a crime to mow it. (But we do!) We don't have meticuously maintained grounds that allow for the maximum number of sites per square feet, stacked up like dominoes ready to fall. We have large roomy site... |

Tanglewood Acres
 | 16 miles away While the new gentleman running Tanglewood Acres are keeping the horse camp open, the camp does not seem to be pulling in as many horseback riders as they had hoped. Could this be due to the economy? Gas prices have gone down, and with the rains of this summer, they are hoping the trails will be dry the months of August/ September/October for some beautiful riding. The local OHC county has maintained the trails for some time. Let's not waste these trail in our Ohio Parks. ... |
