Back 40 Campgrounds
 | 11 miles away This campground is mostly set up for long-term campers. They have the sites with trees. Most visitors stay in a central grassy area with no shade trees. The property is well cared for and neat. There is swimming in a farm pond but no pool. Nice place for somewhere quiet to hang out but kids will get bored pretty quickly I think. The lack of shade makes it pretty hot in the summer even with AC. The owners are nice people and friendly. Fires are permitted in fire rings which they provide. Tent camping was down the hill. There was some shade there but when it rains the area floods.... |
