Long Hollow is a glorious place to pop by close by. There's so much to do here at McBride Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kennard Shawnee Village is a magnificent place for that. Visit Grass Lick Run since you're here at McBride Lake, and Ramada Inn is a great location to get some rest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Dry warm beds await you at AmeriStay Portsmouth. This       lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of McBride Lake, you could also visit close by Roosevelt Lake, and you can run the rapids of Tygarts Creek. McBride Lake is not far at all from Portsmouth; if you came to camp Shawnee Village RV Park And Campground is a wonderful place to do that. McBride Lake generally gets a good deal of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. All through the warm days of                  summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at McBride Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
