If you came to camp Clays Park Resort is a nice place to do that; Long Lake Channel is a nearby lake that you could explore. During the long summer days at Mannings Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows       in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mannings Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. If you want to hit the beach, Turkeyfoot Beach is nearby; if you need a place to stay The Akron City Centre Hotel is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Boston Mills if you're here; Mannings Pond is not far at all from Akron.                  The Quaker Square Inn at the University of Akron is a magnificent spot to get some rest; while you're here, you could also stop at picturesque Summit Lake. There's so much to do here at Mannings Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tamsin RV Park is a great spot for that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cuyahoga River. What would winter be without some skiing at Brandywine, and the peak of Sherbondy Hill can be seen from Mannings Pond. Yeah, come here to Mannings Pond for a great time.
