A good close by hotel is Lima Knights Inn, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Lima for sure. At Long Pool throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Long Pool drop into the 10's. If you came to camp Wapakoneta/Lima South KOA       is a good location to do that; Tamarac Golf Club is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Long Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Winona Lake Campground is a tremendous location for that, and it's a wonderful idea to pop by Kessler Run. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Lima is a glorious place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Long Pool, McClintock Lake is close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy                  this location.
