Locust Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail near Locust Lake called the Beechtree Trail. A lake close by is Royal Oaks Golf       Course Pond Number One; a great close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson,Wilder, KY. There's so much to do here at Locust Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clear Water Air Park is a good place for that; Hershel Run is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn CincinnatiEastgate is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and nearby you stumble on the Lakeview Trail which is a                  good hiking trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Locust Lake has to offer. Meadow Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and an afternoon playing golf at Legendary Run Golf Course is always a bliss. If you came to camp Miami Trails Hoa is a great place to do that, and going for a hike on the Southwoods Trail is always a nice adventure. For the duration of the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Locust Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's.
