the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's, and night lows at Lake of the Woods during the wintertime typically dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake of the Woods
without first going for a hike along the Paw Paw Trail; camping is available at Shady Trails Campground. During your spree to Lake of the Woods you'll meet some people from Wilmington for sure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone
but if it's for you then, we recommend Lee's Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Spicy Run Mountain since you're here; the George Trail offers hiking at its best.
