Near Lake Rupert you hit upon the Acorn Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Rupert that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Dog Camp-Resort is a splendid place for that. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Rupert is close to the national average; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the       month with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Chapel Ridge Trail is always a great adventure. There are other locations here than Lake Rupert, for example Walleye Lake, and if you came to camp Top Of The Caves Campground is a perfect site to do that. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Lake Rupert. An exciting thing to take a look at in close proximity to Lake Rupert is Lake Rupert Dam, and after a long day outdoors Jackson-Days                  Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Johnson Run is a tremendous site to stop by, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Lake Alma. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Rupert reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Rupert plunge into the 10's.
